Location: Auckland
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday only
Salary: $39.30-$51.35 per hour plus benefits

Are you a surgical RN who enjoys clinical variety but would love to work set days? This is truly as good as it gets!!!
Our client is looking for a surgical RN to work four x 8-hour shifts (0.8 FTE). The elective surgical and orthopaedic ward is open only from Tuesday mornings to Saturday afternoons, so you'll have every Saturday evening, Sunday, and Monday off.
On offer is the opportunity to work at New Zealand's largest private surgical facility with 22 theatres (growing) across three sites, including an Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care facilities. Our surgical specialities include Orthopaedic/Spinal, Colorectal/Gastro, Gynae, Urology, Neurology, Oncology, Plastics (incl flaps), ENT/ORL, Head & Neck, and Cardiac/Vascular. Their patients are both adults and children.
Skills & experience required for this Registered Nurse - Orthopaedics and General Surgical opportunity

Skills & experience required for this Registered Nurse - Orthopaedics and General Surgical opportunity
- New Zealand-based Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- At least two years ( or just coming up to ) current experience in an inpatient surgical and/or orthopaedic environment
- Must have experience scrubbing for either joint replacements or general/gynae/plastics
- Proven passion for and desire to provide outstanding and holistic care to patients
- A vital customer service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive energy, enthusiastic attitude, the team-focused
- Availability to be rostered across all shifts, i.e. mornings, afternoons and nights
