Salary up to $98,800 per annum plus benefits
Full time, permanent role

About the Mammography Service Team Leader role
Carejobz Recruitment are recruiting for a Medical Imaging Technologist to lead our client's Mammography Service based in a central Auckland hospital.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you'll provide full operational leadership to the site and its people (Receptionists, Medical Imaging Technologists, and Nurses) including working hands-on as a mammographer.

Additionally, you'll provide clinical oversight of the mammography service across Auckland sites, so it is essential that you have a car (mileage is reimbursed).

As the new Mammography Service Team Leader, your operational responsibilities  will include:
  • Seeing patients and performing mammograms
  • Leading, managing and developing the team to ensure the delivery of a high standard of service
  • Staff management including, managing rosters to ensure adequate staffing, leave balances, and performance reviews
  • Participating in quality and governance meetings and acting as an advocate for mammography modality throughout business
  • Working with Operations Manager Joint Ventures & Clinics to oversee budget planning and delivery
  • Ordering supplies for the clinic and performing stocktakes and ensuring the physical environment is clean tidy and well maintained
  • Keeping all manuals and procedures up to date and ensuring compliance with same
  • Building and maintaining active and constructive relationships across the wider business
To apply for the Mammography Service Team Leader role you will need:
  • Registration with the NZ MRTB and a current practicing certificate
  • Post Grad Cert in Mammography or equivalent experience
  • To be patient-focused with high technical skills and knowledge and to encourage the same of your team
  • Team leadership experience including coaching, motivating, and performance management where necessary
  • Familiarity with quality management principles
  • To be computer literate with intermediate-level skills using Microsoft office products
  • Budgetary management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and managing your time
  • Extremely strong people skills with the verbal and written communication skills to support this
