Job Title: Registered Nurse- Theatre RN
Location: Auckland
Hours: Mon - Fri (mixture of 6, 8 and 10 hours shifts), start times are between 0700 and 1200, with the latest finish at 2030 (plus occasional weekend lists)

About this opportunity

Our client is New Zealand's largest private surgical facility with 22 theatres (and growing) across 3 sites including an Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care facilities. They offer a variety of surgical specialties which include: Orthopaedic/Spinal, Colorectal/Gastro, Gynae, Urology, Neurology, Oncology, Plastics (incl flaps), ENT/ORL, Head & Neck, and Cardiac/Vascular for both adults and children. They are looking for Theatre RNs across a number of specialties including Orthopaedics, General, Cardiac etc. Ideally with 2 plus years of current or recent experience or maybe you have had a break from Theatre in the last few years but seek to return.

Their Theatre teams work rostered shifts across Mon - Fri (mixture of 6, 8 and 10 hours shifts), start times are between 0700 and 1200, with the latest finish at 2030 (plus occasional weekend lists).


Skills & experience required for this Registered Nurse- Theatre RN opportunity

  •  If you hold their core values of being adaptable, having effective communication skills, being accountable for your actions and the desire to provide excellent customer service to both their internal and external customers.
  • New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Ideally with 2 plus years of current or recent experience or maybe you have had a break from Theatre in the last few years but seek to return.
  • A strong customer service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive energy, enthusiastic attitude, the team focused
  • Strong communication skills
  • A desire to progress your clinical career long term as they love to grow their own
