Job Title: Registered Nurse - Surgical 
Location: Auckland
Hours: Permanent roles
Salary:  Up to $82k plus penal rates for nights and weekends

Our client is seeking Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join their team across their facility. If you are a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with an interest in surgical nursing or have a preference to work in private healthcare, then this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for. 
   
They are looking for RNs with ideally surgical or medical nursing experience for full-time or part-time permanent positions to work across their Surgical Wards where you'll be rostered on 8 hrs shifts 24/7. Maybe you have also looked at relocating to a region with a much cheaper lifestyle and rent etc as relocation packages may be available for the right person and with the beautiful winterless north at your doorstep, it's a great place to explore !! CAP nurses are also welcome to contact me with relevant previous experience. Also, you may wish to move from Aged Hospital surgical care to private. 
  
The main responsibility of the role, in summary, is admitting Patients, Preparing patients for elective surgical procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery Assessments

Teamwork is extremely important, and this role would suit a registered nurse who loves a fast-paced environment, is naturally a great multi-tasker, has top-notch time management skills, and team-focused and most of all is a team player.

Someone who thrives in the environment and interacting with patients and families and a multidisciplinary team, and surgeons, so you'll need to be an RN with a proactive 'can-do attitude and excellent communication skills and positive energy. The ability to develop positive and collaborative relationships is integral to this role.

  • Exceptional relationship and communication skills
  • Exceptional patient and customer service aptitude.
  • A can-do attitude with a quality focus and a commitment to delivering best practice patient care.
  • Flexibility to work extra hours as required.
  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A current New Zealand Practicing certificate.
