About this opportunity

Are you ready to step up into an Operations role?
This is an exciting chance to become a Regional Operations Manager for a leading aged care provider. Ideally you will come from a Clinical background and have knowledge of the aged care sector in a management position.
With a number of aged care residential facilities in your portfolio, you will be required to travel regularly in this role, visiting your sites and supporting the network of Facility Managers in place.

With sites around NZ, you will be joining this well respected organisation with high aspirations, and genuine commitment to driving quality care for the elderly in their rest home/hospital/villages.

The role:

  • Maintaining profitability, by maximising revenue and occupancy and controlling operating costs
  • Ensuring a performance culture is developed and nurtured
  • Ensuring the provision of appropriate and effective care through the delivery of excellent clinical standards of care
  • Run efficiently through the implementation of appropriate operating procedures, controls, purchasing and staff management processes
  • Ensure the properties are managed to meet building compliance requirements and that presentation is of a high standard
  • Ensure that the marketing and promotion of the facilities are effective and appropriate;
  • Maintaining health and safety standards in all facilities and ensuring a safe work environment

Skills & experience required for this Regional Manager | Aged Care opportunity

You will need:
  • Previous experience in an aged care management role
  • The ability to cover multi-sites
  • Ideally a Clinical Nursing background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional but empathetic manner
