Location: Victoria
Hours: Permanent Full-Time role.
Salary: $118,307.28 + Superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances

This global healthcare company provides quality health care through a network of clinical practice, teaching, and research across 10 countries, with over eight million admissions/patient visits to its facilities in over 500 locations.  

This hospital provides an extensive range of inpatient and day patient services all located on-site for the convenience of our patients. 

We are seeking a Perioperative Services Manager to join the Theatre leadership team.

In this role you will be taking on the full management of our Theatre complex including Preadmissions, Day Surgery and CSSD and will be accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human & material resources within the department. The role encompasses planning, implementing and evaluating all practices, processes and clinical services of the unit.
You will be supported by a passionate team of Associate NUM’s and skilled Nurses while reporting to and utilising the mentorship of the Director of Clinical Services.


Skills & experience required for this Perioperative Services Manager opportunity

This role is suited to an experienced clinical manager with proven experience in:
  • Leadership
  • Guiding team culture
  • Driving Service provision and activity
  
You will bring a demonstrated capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and act as a passionate mentor while effectively managing the resources and needs of the unit.
You will also bring;
  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • 5 years minimum relevant experience as a Nurse in Perioperative Services.
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership or management experience in this field
  • Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement program
  • Relevant post-graduate speciality qualifications and/or management qualifications.
  • must be up-to-date in their vaccination against COVID-19 (including the third dose, as required) using a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation.
  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months

According to the role, the client may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisations against infectious disease.
