Skills and Experience required to apply for this Midwife opportunity:
- Registered Midwife with a current annual practicing certificate
- A wide range of midwifery experiences in a variety of settings either as a student or in a postgraduate capacity.
- Experience of working with women from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds
- Enthusiasm for learning
- Contemporaneous professional portfolio
- Membership of professional body
- Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
- Initiative and a positive manner
- Collaborative approach with the multidisciplinary team
- Able to handle stress effectively
- Good time management skills
- Basic keyboard skills sufficient for data input
- An awareness of the Quality improvement cycle
- Dynamic and creative approach to midwifery
- Computer literate
