About the Role: As a CSSD Department Manager / Sterile Services Manager, you will oversee the Central Sterile Supply Department, ensuring excellence in sterilisation practices and infection control.

Leading a dedicated team, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing the cleaning, packing, and sterilising of instruments, equipment, and consumables used in operating theatres.
  • Overseeing the ScanCARE electronic tracking system to ensure precision and accountability.
  • Leading a team by managing rostering, performance, and staff training.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards in sterilisation procedures and infection control.
Whether you are an experienced CSSD Department Manager or a Sterile Services Manager, this role offers the opportunity to further develop your leadership and technical skills within a supportive environment.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced hospital CSSD environment.
  • Cert 3 or Cert 4 in Sterilisation Services.
  • Strong knowledge of sterilisation procedures and instrumentation, with experience managing a CSSD Department or Sterile Services Department.
  • Familiarity with electronic tracking systems like ScanCARE.
  • Endoscopy reprocessing experience (or a willingness to learn).
  • AHPRA Registration (for Registered Nurses).
  • Current Police Check (within the last 12 months) and up-to-date vaccinations.
