Location: Sydney, Australia
Hours: Permanent role - Full-time (Part-time considered)
Salary:  as per EBA in accordance with years of experience

We have an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses who are proactive and passionate about healthcare, who want to join a private hospital where your efforts will be truly appreciated
  
 
This hospital requires an experienced Critical Care Nurse to work within a 7 bed - Level 1 Intensive Care Unit, and also a 8 bed  -Level 2 High Dependency Unit / Coronary Care Unit. The Critical Care Unit provides clinical care to surgical and medical patients within an acute care setting. We seek a clinician who will provide quality, patient-centred care across all three areas to ensure the best possible outcomes for all patients.



Skills & experience required for this Critical Care (Intensive Care) Registered Nurse opportunity

Essential Criteria:
  • Current Registration APHRA
  • Degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Intensive Care (less than 2 years may be considered if combined with cardiothoracic experience) 
  • Advanced Life Support qualifications
  • Exceptional collaborative interpersonal and well developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Experience with computerised reporting systems
Desirable Criteria:
  • Membership in the relevant professional organisation
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Intensive Care or a willingness to obtain this
