South Canterbury
Salary: up to $95k per annum PLUS 10% bonus PLUS up to $8k relocation bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday with On-Call

About the role

We are looking for a Clinical Manager at our client's Retirement Village, delivering clinical leadership and excellence you will be a self-starter, passionate about improving the lives and well-being of our client's residents.

As the new Clinical Manager you will:
  • Lead   and empower the clinical team to deliver safe, appropriate, and holistic resident care in an environment of continuous improvement
  • Manage and report on clinical risk as it emerges and responds appropriately to deliver positive outcomes
  • Foster a resident-led culture that supports the Arvida vision, mission, and values.
  • Ensure all standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to, meet contractual and legislative requirements and reflect current best practice

Skills and Experience required to apply for this Clinical Manager opportunity
  • A Clear understanding of HDSS standards 
  • A Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate from the Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • InteRAI trained
  • Preferably with experience in the NZ aged care industry.
  • With proven leadership ability and experience in leading a team, you naturally mentor and coach your staff to perform to standard. 
  • Proficient in the use of technology, modeling, and efficient work environment.  
  • You thrive in environments where you work closely with people, showing respect and building spirit, fostering empowerment and pride. You are self-aware and empathetic with the ability to motivate and empower individuals.
  • You encourage organisational and individual collaboration with the wider community and environment. You understand the importance of purpose and meaning and actively foster an environment where every resident is supported to live well.
