Job Title: Clinical Lead - Aged Care
Location: Central Auckland
Hours: Mon to Fri - Full time
Salary: Up to $90k depending on experience

About the Role: 
  
This is a rare opportunity for a skilled nurse to join one of our favourite aged care clients. You will be located at their central Auckland site, working in a modern, purpose built care facility, caring for hospital level and rest home level residents. 
  
What do this role consist of?
  

• Effective leadership and development of the care teams within the home under direction of the Care Manager
• Responsible for the education and training of new and current team members.
• Evaluating quality care performance data, clinical documentation, work practices and resources so that compliance is achieved or exceeded
• Ensuring personalised care is provided to residents and that care plans are developed, implemented and reviewed on a regular basis
• Developing capability and currency of clinical practice in relation to medication management, wound care, continence management, palliative care & dementia care
• Monitoring staffing levels and approving time and attendance records.

 
  
What do I need to be considered?

• A minimum of 3 years in an aged care, clinical role.
• A track record of mentoring and leading care teams.
• Strong business and financial management skills/acumen.
• New Zealand Nursing registration and current APC.
• An in depth knowledge of the Aged Care standards and how they translate to everyday practice
