Hours: Perm Full Time
Salary: $47+ per hour plus Super + up to $15,900 in salary packaging & benefits

Our client is searching for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide guidance and support to our amazing team.

Come to the Sunshine Coast to manage the clinical care for our residents in our state-of-the-art residential aged care service in Little Mountain, only 6km from Caloundra CBD. Our 96-bed residential aged care service incorporates the latest innovations in design, care and community spaces. Great challenge, career growth and support.

About the role

As an integral team member, you will liaise and work closely with the Service Manager in relation to all aspects of clinical care service delivery. You will be a highly motivated and experienced Care Manager (Registered Nurse, Level 3) with the ability to provide quality holistic care, service delivery excellence and guidance to staff.  
Every day will be different, though your main responsibilities will be:
  • Coordinating and promoting a consultative and collaborative approach to resident care planning and quality management activities;
  • Reviewing ACFI data for accuracy and relevance prior to submission;
  • Monitoring and reviewing nursing practice procedures and clinical programs and initiatives;
  • Guiding and mentoring care staff in accordance with standards of practice and professional guidelines.
Skills & experience required for this Care Manager - RN Level 3 opportunity

As the Care Manager, ideally, your experience and qualifications include:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse;
  • Experience in managing and leading clinical care in the aged care sector;
  • Strong knowledge of the aged care accreditation system and compliance;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ACFI;
  • Experience in educating, mentoring and motivating staff;
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain a National Police Check and a National Personal Insolvency.
Please note, that all employees working within our residential and community aged care need to be immunised for COVID. You will need to provide evidence that your COVID vaccination meets the requirements of Churches of Christ policy or the applicable public health direction.
