Salary: $85-90k depending on experience

Carejobz is seeking an experienced Facility Manager with a current practice certificate for a large aged care rest home facility.

In summary, the role will see you leading a team of experienced professionals whose primary goal is to ensure that they are doing all they can to ensure the very best levels of care are provided to their residents in the purpose built facility, which has been well looked after and gained good audit results, so this will be a nice opportunity for an experienced Manager to take over the reins and continue the good work.

About the ideal candidate

We’re seeking an experienced Facility Manager with at least 4 years experience in leading a team in a large care facility.You will easily be able to understand the organisational culture to provide strategic leadership effectively in a rest home/hospital facility setting.Ideally, you will also hold a post graduate certificate.

What you will need to apply for this Facility Manager role

  • Candidates must have 3 years experience in facility management
  • Be RN qualified with a current APC
  • Have Change management experience
  • Ability to demonstrate business and financial management skills/acumen
  • Experienced in marketing for occupancy retention
  • Be able to hit the floor running
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of compliance and risk management
  • Ability to demonstrate business and financial management skills/acumen
  • Have proven excellent audit results in previous roles
  • Be an influential leader and relationship builder
  • Have excellent reporting & IT skills
  • Have a collaborative, firm but fair leadership style, empowering others and encouraging professional development
  • Have a good eye for and be able to implement change where necessary.
